Being in constant communion with our Lord is what will renew your mind. The more time you spend with Him, the deeper that relationship will grow and the more you will conform to His Holy, never-ending likeness. Renewal of the mind starts with dying to your flesh and this world, aligning your soul with your spirit, and realizing who you are in your perfect spirit and not in your imperfect flesh. All else will flow from that (Matt 6:33).
We could literally be beaten to the point of death and bear it. We could be faced with death and not be fearful. This is all possible through our spirit. The spirit of the living God, not a dead God. Saying that these aren’t possible is letting your flesh (which is temporary, flawed, and weak) dictate your possibilities, not your spirit (which is true, perfect, and ever-strong). Jesus overcame all things, even death, and we have Him living inside us. Anything, ANYTHING is possible through Him.
